Don't get hung up on any rules for your fitness... Sleep, eating, exercise... It's so easy to get addicted to the rules that are "common knowledge".
Instead listen to your body, test and find what works for you.
Every body is unique.
For instance I don't lift weights but am strong and flexible.
I eat meat but eat other things once in awhile.
I have coffee in the middle of the night.
I scroll my phone right before bed.
And yet I thrive at 71.

What "rules" do you break and still feel great?
You made me laugh and also made me feel better. I was having trouble sleeping so got up at 3am. Broke a rule there. I am also drinking coffee at 3am and 4am and reading this post on my IPad instead of reading a book in bed, listening to a sleep meditation and trying to fall back asleep. Breaking all sorts of rules and feeling guilty until I read your post. Thank you
